(2004) Contract Fetter Logic (www.fetterlogic.com) develops, deploys, and manages data warehousing, reporting, and information technology solutions to the financial services industry. Project involves mapping securities transaction types for the purpose of creating broker commission clearing charge reports. Duties include contacting broker/dealer commission department personnel, mapping broker/dealer business model to MS Excel spreadsheets and uploading finalized model to MS SQL Server. Reports generated from MS SQL Server are provided to the broker/dealer monthly and persistent contact with broker/dealer personnel is maintained to ensure quality of reports and to develop enhancements. Additional duties assumed to analyze and document existing data transmission and business-process reports. Work involves downloading, parsing and analyzing COBOL mainframe data transmissions and creating database layout guides in Microsoft Access to be exported to Adobe Acrobat files. These database layout guides are uploaded to the National Financial Services (Fidelity) training intranet. Much of the analysis is being completed viewing SQL Server tables derived from the mainframe transmissions and applying SQL-Transact queries to test business definitions and logic. Other duties include analyzing Write Structured Field (WSF) reports, using SQL Server to view mainframe transmissions and verify accuracy of WSF reports.
